An attorney for more than 8 years, Giahna’s current practice is concentrated in commercial litigation and business restructuring and insolvency.

Prior to legal practice, Giahna worked as an associate portfolio analyst at an asset management company and was exposed to the needs of financial service providers as well as the regulatory environment in which they operate.  She later assisted a corporate and financial services provider in creating statutorily compliant solutions to resolve client issues.

Giahna’s early legal practice included advising and representing clients in various commercial areas including professional negligence, land disputes, trusts, breaches of fiduciary duties, and medical malpractice.

Giahna enjoys law teaching and has served as an Associate Tutor at the Eugene Dupuch Law School, Nassau and presented at various local conferences.
